Human Annexin A5 (ANXA5) interaction partners

  1. Moreover, mechanism study exhibited that Annexin A5 could activate PI3K (show PIK3CA Proteins)/Akt (show AKT1 Proteins)/mTOR (show FRAP1 Proteins) signaling pathway, promote epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT (show ITK Proteins)) and the expression of MMP2 (show MMP2 Proteins) and MMP9 (show MMP9 Proteins). Annexin A5 may be a potential prognostic biomarker in RCC (show XRCC1 Proteins) and promotes proliferation, migration and invasion of RCC (show XRCC1 Proteins) cells via activating PI3K (show PIK3CA Proteins)/Akt (show AKT1 Proteins)/mTOR (show FRAP1 Proteins) signaling pathway and regulating EMT (show ITK Proteins) process and MMP expression.

  2. human myotubes rendered deficient for Annexin-A5 (AnxA5) suffer from a severe defect in membrane resealing.

  3. This study functionally characterized allelic variants in the ANXA5 promoter, both alone and in combinations, and the results suggest that combinations of several individual variants contribute to modulate the ANXA5 transcriptional activity, most likely through binding of nuclear factors.

  4. Chronically increased alveolar annexin V levels, as reflected in increased idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) BALF levels, may contribute to the progression of IPF by inducing the release of pro-fibrotic mediators.

  5. lower exhaled breath condensate annexin A5 levels in children with exercise-induced asthma compared to non-exercised-induced one

  6. annexin A5 promoter haplotype M2 may not have a role in recurrent pregnancy loss in Estonia or Denmark

  7. Annexin V is fused to an enzyme, creating a fusion protein that converts nontoxic drug precursors, prodrugs, into anticancer compounds while bound to the tumor, therefore mitigating the risk of side effects.

  8. Neither the M1/M2 haplotypes nor the tag SNPs in ANXA5 were convincingly associated with pregnancy related venous thromboembolism.

  9. Anx5 could protect cardiomyocytes adherens junctions and improve myocardial contractile function via regulation of p120 (show HNRNPU Proteins) and anti-inflammation in LPS (show IRF6 Proteins)-induced endotoxemia.

  10. The associated male partner risk confirms the proposed role of M2/ANXA5 as a genetic trait impeding embryonic anticoagulation.

Mouse (Murine) Annexin A5 (ANXA5) interaction partners

  1. Anxa5 mediates the in vitro malignant behaviours of murine hepatocarcinoma Hca-F cells via ERK2 (show MAPK1 Proteins)/c-Jun (show JUN Proteins)/p-c-Jun (show JUN Proteins)(Ser73) and ERK2 (show MAPK1 Proteins)/E-cadherin (show CDH1 Proteins) pathways.

  2. findings suggest that GnRH (show GNRH1 Proteins) is necessary for constitutive ANXA5 expression in the pituitary gland, not only in gonadotropes but also in other pituitary gland cell types

  3. As a potential indicator for malignancy and lymphatic metastasis, ANXA5 overexpression increases in vitro migration and invasion of Hca-P cell, promotes in vivo malignancy, LNM rate and level of Hca-P-transplanted mice.

  4. These data suggest that AnxA2 (show ANXA2 Proteins) and AnxA5 can influence bone formation via regulation of osteoprogenitor proliferation, differentiation, and responsiveness to cytokines in addition to their well-studied function in matrix vesicles

  5. annexin A5 may play a crucial role in cisplatin-induced toxicity by mediating the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway via the induction and oligomerization of VDAC.

  6. The decrease of miR-1 and increase of AnxA5 appear as important modulators of NCX1 (show SLC8A1 Proteins) expression and activity during heart failure.

  7. double and opposite role of annexin A5 in regulating the endocytic and autophagic pathways and the fusion of autophagosomes with lysosomes and endosomes

  8. Hence, the presence of maternal Anxa5 minimises the risk of thrombosis in the placental circulation and reduces the risk of foetal loss.

  9. inhibited efferocytosis with annexin V worsened elastase-induced pulmonary emphysema in mice, which was, at least partly, attributed to a lack of phenotypic change in macrophages toward anti-inflammatory one.

  10. AnxA5 participates in the membrane repair process.

Annexin V (ANXA5) Protein Profile

Protein Summary

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins some of which have been implicated in membrane-related events along exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. Annexin 5 is a phospholipase A2 and protein kinase C inhibitory protein with calcium channel activity and a potential role in cellular signal transduction, inflammation, growth and differentiation. Annexin 5 has also been described as placental anticoagulant protein I, vascular anticoagulant-alpha, endonexin II, lipocortin V, placental protein 4 and anchorin CII. The gene spans 29 kb containing 13 exons, and encodes a single transcript of approximately 1.6 kb and a protein product with a molecular weight of about 35 kDa.
