Human Chemokine (C-C Motif) Receptor 2 (CCR2) interaction partners

  1. CCL2 (show CCL2 Antibodies) suppressed HDL (show HSD11B1 Antibodies) internalization and cholesterol efflux via CCR2 induction and p42 (show EPB42 Antibodies)/44 MAPK (show MAPK1 Antibodies) activation in ECs. CCL2 (show CCL2 Antibodies) induction may contribute to impair HDL (show HSD11B1 Antibodies) function and form atherosclerosis in coronary artery disease.

  2. High levels of TRAIL-R3 and CCR-2 expression in tumor epithelial cells identified patients with early breast cancer with poor outcomes.

  3. X ray crystal structure of CC chemokine receptor 2 (show CCRL2 Antibodies) with orthosteric and allosteric antagonists

  4. Ingestion of an amino acid supplement immediately post-exercise appears to help maintain plasma MCP-1 concentrations and augment CCR2 expression in resistance trained men.

  5. HUMSCs expressing ISZ-sTRAIL might be an efficient therapeutic approach against lung cancer and MCP-1/CCR2 axis is essential for the tumor tropism of HUMSCs

  6. The authors demonstrate a positive correlation between CCR2 receptor gene polymorphism and a subgroup of breast cancer showing poor prognosis, which deserves further investigation in larger samples for validation.

  7. Results of this study indicated that the CCL2-CCR2 axis was involved in the pathogenesis of oral lichen planus and was positively correlated with disease activity.

  8. sCCL2 production possibly will be associated with the adiposity and polymorphic phenotypes of CCL2 (show CCL2 Antibodies) and CCR2, in Mexican-Mestizos with insulin (show INS Antibodies) resistance

  9. Increased CCR2 expression is associated with bladder cancer metastasis.

  10. These findings suggested that the CCL2 (show CCL2 Antibodies)/CCR2 chemokine (show CCL1 Antibodies) signaling may regulate the epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

Mouse (Murine) Chemokine (C-C Motif) Receptor 2 (CCR2) interaction partners

  1. this study shows that CCR2-deficient mice display enhanced resistance to Japanese encephalitis virus

  2. this study shows that CCR-2 signaling is involved in the killing of Staphylococcus aureus by murine bone marrow cells

  3. The results indicate that CCR2 plays an essential role in Helicobacter pylori-induced immune tolerance and shed light on a novel mechanism of CCR2-dependent dendritic cell Treg cell induction, which appears to be important in maintaining mucosal homeostasis during Helicobacter pylori infection.

  4. CCR2(-/-) resident cardiac Macrophage favor a more antiinflammatory phenotype relative to WT controls

  5. Endothelial VCAM-1 targeted delivery of the CCR2 antagonist resulted in inhibition of pulmonary metastases both in a murine (MC-38GFP cells) and a human xenograft (patient-derived cells) model.

  6. To interrogate the role of CCR2 activation on Nf1 (show NF1 Antibodies)(+/-) neointima formation, authors induced neointima formation by carotid artery ligation in Nf1 (show NF1 Antibodies)(+/-) and WT mice with genetic deletion of either MCP1 (show CCL2 Antibodies) or CCR2. Loss of MCP-1 (show CPT1B Antibodies) or CCR2 expression effectively inhibited Nf1 (show NF1 Antibodies)(+/-) neointima formation and reduced macrophage content in the arterial wall.

  7. involved in Staphylococcus aureus-induced MCP-1 (show CPT1B Antibodies) production via NF-kB or p38-MAPK (show MAPK14 Antibodies) signaling

  8. CCL2 and its receptor CCR2 are important for the formation of osteoclasts and foreign body giant cells.

  9. Disruption of CCR2 enhanced tau pathology and reduced cavity volume in mild traumatic brain injury.

  10. In the absence of the rd8 allele, deficiency of CCR2 and CX3CL1 (show CX3CL1 Antibodies) in mice leads to a mild form of retinal degeneration which is associated with the recruitment of macrophages, particularly to the subretinal space. This model enables to assess consequences of perturbed chemokine (show CCL1 Antibodies) signaling, but it does not recapitulate cardinal (show CARD8 Antibodies) age-related macular degeneration features.

CCR2 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes two isoforms of a receptor for monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, a chemokine which specifically mediates monocyte chemotaxis. Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 is involved in monocyte infiltration in inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis as well as in the inflammatory response against tumors. The receptors encoded by this gene mediate agonist-dependent calcium mobilization and inhibition of adenylyl cyclase. This gene is located in the chemokine receptor gene cluster region. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants are expressed by the gene.
