Mouse (Murine) Nerve Growth Factor beta (NGFB) interaction partners

  1. In E-Reeler (show RELN Antibodies) retinas, NGF was significantly increased in retinal ganglion cells and glial cells. E-Reeler (show RELN Antibodies) retinal bipolar cells and RGCs overexpress NGF and p75(NTR (show NGFR Antibodies)) as a protective endogenous response to Reelin (show RELN Antibodies) deprivation.

  2. The NGF-induced up-regulation of TRPV1 (show TRPV1 Antibodies) via the increased synthesis and release of endogenous CGRP (show CALCA Antibodies) leads to improved cardiac performance in I/R-injured diabetic heart.

  3. NGF effects on parasympathetic nerves may regulate airway smooth muscle.

  4. Identify nerve growth factor as a binding partner for MOG (show MOG Antibodies) and demonstrate that this interaction is capable of sequestering NGF from TrkA (show NTRK1 Antibodies)-expressing neurons to modulate axon growth and survival.

  5. Ginger extract has a synaptogenic effect via NGF-induced ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies)/CREB (show CREB1 Antibodies) activation, resulting in memory enhancement.

  6. Proinflammatory cytokines in osteoarthritis (OA) joints and the increased mechanical loading of cartilage may mediate OA pain via the stimulation of NGF expression and release by chondrocytes

  7. Despite being highly conserved, NGF and proNGF of mouse and human origins show distinct properties.Special care must be taken in performing experiments with cross-species systems.

  8. NGF exhibits anti-oxidative and hepatoprotective effects and is suggested to be therapeutically applicable in treating cholestatic liver diseases.

  9. Results indicate that analgesic effect of CB1 (show CNR1 Antibodies) activation may in part be due to inhibition of NGF-induced sensitization of TRPV1 (show TRPV1 Antibodies) and also that the effect of CB1 (show CNR1 Antibodies) activation is at least partly mediated by attenuation of NGF-induced increased PI3 (show PI3 Antibodies) signaling

  10. NGF induces removal of active caspase-3 (show CASP3 Antibodies) in a lysosome-dependent manner.

Human Nerve Growth Factor beta (NGFB) interaction partners

  1. Data suggest MMP7 (matrix metalloproteinase 7 (show MMP7 Antibodies)) in follicular fluid cleaves proNGF (pro-nerve growth factor) in ovarian follicle; both MMP7 (show MMP7 Antibodies) and proNGF appear to be products of granulosa cells; processing of proNGF to NGF appears to regulate apoptosis.

  2. NGF promotes renal fibrosis via TGF-beta1-signaling activation, suggesting that in kidney diseases high NGF serum levels could contribute to worsen renal fibrosis.

  3. This study suggests that the circadian rhythm in the esophagus may be important for the mediation of and/or the response to erosive damage in GERD patients.

  4. NGF has a role in modulating trkANGFR/p75NTR (show NGFR Antibodies) in alphaSMA (show ACTA2 Antibodies)-expressing conjunctival fibroblasts from human ocular cicatricial pemphigoid

  5. NGF-induced tyrosine kinase (show TXK Antibodies) independent TrkA (show NTRK1 Antibodies) signaling through CD44 (show CD44 Antibodies) is sufficient to maintain tumor aggressiveness in breast cancer

  6. Urinary NGF, but not BDNF (show BDNF Antibodies), levels decreased significantly after hyaluronic acid therapy.

  7. These results suggest that reduced NGF serum levels can be a possible biomarker of MDD.

  8. Study found that NGF and p75NTR (show NGFR Antibodies) mRNA expression levels in liver tissues with hepatic fibrosis (viral or not) were up-regulated and they can regulate the course of the disease by decreasing or inhibiting hepatocyte regeneration and proliferation.

  9. NGF and its precursor proNGF are primarily considered as regulators of neuronal function that induce their responses via the tyrosine kinase receptor TrkA (show NTRK1 Antibodies) and the panneurotrophin receptor p75NTR (show NGFR Antibodies). (Review)

  10. These observations add further evidence in favor of anti-NGF therapy in autoimmune diseases and also unlock a new area of research about the role of NGF in IL-1beta (show IL1B Antibodies) mediated diseases.

Pig (Porcine) Nerve Growth Factor beta (NGFB) interaction partners

  1. This study demonstrated for the first time a strong expression of NGF, TrkA, CGRP, nNOS and neuronal specific enolase in the majority of esophageal enteric nervous system components.

  2. There is up-regulation of NGF mRNA and protein expression in the porcine uterus when affected by E. coli-induced in-flammation.

  3. NGF, TrkA (show NTRK1 Antibodies) and p75 (show TNFRSF1B Antibodies) are expressed in the ovary during the estrous cycle in gilts

  4. we demonstrate the sensitizing effect of NGF on pig skin nociceptors; long-lasting sensitization processes of nociceptor endings or axonal sodium channel desensitization mechanisms can be explored in the pig as a translational experimental animal model

  5. The present study indicates that caveolin-containing rafts/caveolins such as caveolin-1 (show CAV1 Antibodies) could play a modulating role during oligodendroglial differentiation and regeneration via NGF/TrkA (show NTRK1 Antibodies) signaling.

NGFB Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene is a member of the NGF-beta family and encodes a secreted protein which homodimerizes and is incorporated into a larger complex. This protein has nerve growth stimulating activity and the complex is involved in the regulation of growth and the differentiation of sympathetic and certain sensory neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy, type 5 (HSAN5), and dysregulation of this gene's expression is associated with allergic rhinitis.
