Myelodysplastic syndrome -related P95 (show NBN Antibodies) point mutants of SRSF2 (show SRSF2 Antibodies) lead to alternative splicing of CDC25C (show CDC25C Antibodies) in a manner that is not dependent on the DNA damage response.
The aim of this review is to shed light on the role of four different phosphatases (PTEN (show PTEN Antibodies), PP2A (show PPP2R4 Antibodies), CDC25 and DUSP1 (show DUSP1 Antibodies)) in five different solid tumors (breast cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer and ovarian cancer), in order to better understand the most frequent and aggressive primary cancer of the central nervous system, glioblastoma.
Endoplasmic reticulum stress triggers a localized signaling module on the ER surface involving Nox4-dependent calcium mobilization, which directs local Ras activation through ER-associated, calcium-responsive RasGRF.
Data show that TRIB2 (show TRIB2 Antibodies)-mediated degradation of CDC25C (show CDC25C Antibodies) is associated with lysine-48-linked CDC25C (show CDC25C Antibodies) polyubiquitination driven by the TRIB2 (show TRIB2 Antibodies) kinase-like domain.
the biology of the activation/deactivation of CDC25 by kinases/phosphatases to maintain the level of CDK (show CDK4 Antibodies)-cyclin (show PCNA Antibodies) activities and thus the genomic stability
Data show that microRNA miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-137 directly recognized the 3'-UTR (3'-untranslated region) of the RASGRF1 (Ras protein-specific guanine nucleotide-releasing factor 1) transcript and regulated RASGRF1 expression.
the knockdown of CDC25C (show CDC25C Antibodies) can reduce both the radiotherapy sensitivity and the proliferation activity of EC9706 cells.

Suggest that the p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)-p21 (show CDKN1A Antibodies)-DREAM-CDE/CHR pathway regulates p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)-dependent repression of Survivin (show BIRC5 Antibodies), CDC25C (show CDC25C Antibodies), and PLK1 (show PLK1 Antibodies) in HCT116 cells.
Data indicate that nine compounds were identified with Ki values for CDC25A, -B and -C ranging from 0.01 to 4.4 muM.
Novel mercaptoacetamide-based class II histone deacetylase (show HDAC1 Antibodies) inhibitor HDACIW2 treatment regulated the levels of RasGRF1 and p-ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies), and that W2 requires RasGRF1 and ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies) signaling to alter dendritic spine formation, suggesting that W2 regulates dendritic spine formation via a RasGRF1/ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies)-dependent signaling pathway
Data (including data from studies in knockout mice) suggest mechanisms involving RasGRF1 exist to regulate hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis in early-adolescent females; such mechanisms appear absent in younger/older female or adolescent male mice.
VLDLR (show VLDLR Antibodies) requires RasGRF1/CaMKII (show CAMK2G Antibodies) to alter dendritic spine formation.
Study suggests a complex role of ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies)-dependent and Ras-GRF1-dependent signaling in corticostriatal plasticity, highlights differences between synaptic mechanisms in naive slices and dopamine-depleted preparations from L-DOPA-treated dyskinetic animals
RasGrf1 is an important upstream component of signal transduction pathways regulating Pttg1 (show PTTG1 Antibodies) expression and controlling beta cell development and physiological responses.
CARD9 (show CARD9 Antibodies) regulates H-Ras (show HRAS Antibodies) activation by linking Ras-GRF1 to H-Ras (show HRAS Antibodies), which mediates Dectin-1 (show CLEC7A Antibodies)-induced extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase (show CDK7 Antibodies) (ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies)) activation and proinflammatory responses when stimulated by their ligands.
GRF1 is expressed in new neurons when GRF1 loss begins to effect neuronal function, promoting late stages of adult neurogenesis. GRF1 is an age-dependent regulator of adult hippocampal neurogenesis and the ability to distinguish closely related contexts.
Data indicate that contextual discrimination involves term potentiation (LTP (show SCP2 Antibodies)) promoted by calcium-permeable AMPA (show GRIA3 Antibodies)-type glutamate (show GRIN1 Antibodies) receptors, RAS-GRF1 and p38 MAP kinase (show MAPK14 Antibodies).
Ras-GRF1 and -GRF2 (show RASGRF2 Antibodies) may act as adaptors that bind PLCgamma1 (show PLCG1 Antibodies) and restrict Ca2 (show CA2 Antibodies)+ signalling to the vicinity of focal adhesions, indicating a new role for these GRFs that is required for IL-1 (show IL1A Antibodies) induction of the Ras-->ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies) pathway and MMP-3 (show MMP3 Antibodies) expression
identified the guanine nucleotide exchange factor Rasgrf1 as a direct Zac1/Plagl1 (show PLAGL1 Antibodies) target gene in beta cells
In conclusion, our results indicated that the Rasgrf1 gene shows both species- and tissue-specific variation in imprinted expression.
The protein encoded by this gene is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) similar to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CDC25 gene product. Functional analysis has demonstrated that this protein stimulates the dissociation of GDP from RAS protein. The studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that the Ras-GEF activity of this protein in brain can be activated by Ca2+ influx, muscarinic receptors, and G protein beta-gamma subunit. Mouse studies also indicated that the Ras-GEF signaling pathway mediated by this protein may be important for long-term memory. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
