Chemokines are a group of small (approximately 8 to 14 kD), mostly basic, structurally related molecules that regulate cell trafficking of various types of leukocytes through interactions with a subset of 7-transmembrane, G protein-coupled receptors. Additionally we are shipping CXCL11 Antibodies (189) and CXCL11 Kits (74) and many more products for this protein.

cloning and characterization of expressed gene sequences of the interferon-gamma (show IFNG Proteins) inducible chemokine (show CCL1 Proteins) CXCL11, or I-TAC, associated with type 1 T-helper immune responses
BK polyomavirus infection can induce CXCL11 gene expression in kidney transplant patients.
CXCL11 production in cerebrospinal fluid was found in herpes simplex meningitis, but not in herpes simplex encephalitis.
Neuroendocrine-like cells promote the chemotaxis activity of tumor-associated macrophages (TAM (show CCNA1 Proteins)) via CXCL10 (show CXCL10 Proteins) and CXCL11.
High CXCL11 expression is associated with clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (show MOK Proteins).
CCL5 (show CCL5 Proteins) and CXCL11 expression were also induced in response to the activation of the PKC (show PRRT2 Proteins) pathway, and gene silencing experiments indicated that their inducible expression was dependent on RIPK4 (show RIPK4 Proteins) and IRF6 (show IRF6 Proteins). Moreover, gene reporter assays suggested that RIPK4 (show RIPK4 Proteins) induces CCL5 (show CCL5 Proteins) and CXCL11 expression by stimulating the transactivation of their promoters by IRF6 (show IRF6 Proteins).
data suggest that STAT2 (show STAT2 Proteins) plays a role in the psoriasis pathogenesis by regulating the expression of CXCL11 and CCL5 (show CCL5 Proteins), and thereby attracting IFNgamma-producing immune cells to the skin
this study shows that melanoma peptides vaccination and intratumoral administration of IFNgamma increases production of CXCL11 in patient tumors
S100A9 (show S100A9 Proteins) and S100A12 (show S100A12 Proteins) may have a role in the pathogenesis of pneumonia: S100A9 (show S100A9 Proteins) and CXCL1 (show CXCL1 Proteins) may contribute solely in mild pneumonia, and CCL5 (show CCL5 Proteins) and CXCL11 may contribute in severe pneumonia.
Downregulation of CXC chemokine (show CXCL12 Proteins) ligand 11 can inhibit tumor angiogenesis, suggesting that anti-CXC chemokine (show CXCL12 Proteins) ligand 11 therapy may offer an alternative treatment strategy for TWIST1 (show TWIST1 Proteins)-positive ovarian cancer
CXCL8 (show IL8 Proteins)/11 may promote the disease progression of osteoarthritis (OA), and may also serve as new therapeutic targets for treatment of OA.
These findings functionally integrate K17 (show KRT17 Proteins), hnRNP K (show HNRNPK Proteins), and gene expression along with RSK (show RPS6KA1 Proteins) and CXCR3 (show CXCR3 Proteins) signaling in a keratinocyte-autonomous axis and provide a potential basis for their implication in tumorigenesis
very low doses of CXCL11 rapidly suppress signs of EAE in C57BL/6 mice lacking functional CXCL11.
Data indicate that epidermis-derived I-TAC (Cxcl11) triggers a sustained Th2-response that determines the outcome of a complex immunological process.
Analysis of genes within the Listr1 locus identified a frameshift mutation in the Cxcl11 gene of the C57BL/6 strain that prevents production of the mature chemokine (show CCL1 Proteins) CXCL11.
Cxcl10 (show CXCL10 Proteins) and cxcl11 are new hair-specific transcriptional targets of ectodysplasin, and they indicates involvement of chemokines in hair development.
the CXCL11-heparin interaction has two different affinities for glycosaminoglycans
I-TAC can have an important role during virus infections and vaccinia virus has evolved ways to avoid inducing I-TAC expression.
I-TAC acts as an antagonist for CCR5. I-TAC inhibited the binding of macrophage-inflammatory protein-1alpha (MIP-1alpha (show CCL3 Proteins))/CC chemokine ligand 3 (CCL3 (show CCL3 Proteins)) to cells transfected with CCR5 and to monocytes.
CXCL11 gene induction by interferon (show IFNA Proteins) is STAT3 (show STAT3 Proteins) dependent
Acute ethanol intoxication impairs lung expression of Cxcl11, interfering with pulmonary response to bacterial challenge.
Chemokines are a group of small (approximately 8 to 14 kD), mostly basic, structurally related molecules that regulate cell trafficking of various types of leukocytes through interactions with a subset of 7-transmembrane, G protein-coupled receptors. Chemokines also play fundamental roles in the development, homeostasis, and function of the immune system, and they have effects on cells of the central nervous system as well as on endothelial cells involved in angiogenesis or angiostasis. Chemokines are divided into 2 major subfamilies, CXC and CC. This gene is a CXC member of the chemokine superfamily. Its encoded protein induces a chemotactic response in activated T-cells and is the dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3. The gene encoding this protein contains 4 exons and at least three polyadenylation signals which might reflect cell-specific regulation of expression. IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of transcription of this gene.
