Data show that fetal pMSCs (mesenchymal stromal cells) expressing the highest levels of desmoglein 2 (show DSG2 ELISA Kits), desmocollin 3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) and plakophilin 2 (show PKP2 ELISA Kits), followed by maternal pMSCs, while bmMSCs expressed the lowest levels.
Napsin-A (show NAPSA ELISA Kits), and Desmocollin-3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) were sensitive and specific markers for the diagnosis of AC and SCC (show CYP11A1 ELISA Kits), respectively. Both markers allowed classification of 54/60 cases into either AC or SCC (show CYP11A1 ELISA Kits).
Suggest that Dsc3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) can mediate FSH (show BRD2 ELISA Kits)-induced ovarian cancer cell proliferation by activating the EGFR (show EGFR ELISA Kits)/Akt (show AKT1 ELISA Kits) signaling pathway.
data suggests that DNA methylation contributes to down-regulation of DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) in prostate cancer, and loss of DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) predicts poor clinical outcome.
Low expression of DSC 1 (show RCAN1 ELISA Kits), 2, and 3 was observed in 55, 54, and 79 % of liver metastases.
The data show an important role of physiologically occurring transcript d2-d4 in normal brain function. Interference with this role by DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) is a likely pathological mechanism in X-chromosomal dystonia parkinsonism syndrome
High expression of desmocollin 1 (DSC1 (show DSC1 ELISA Kits)) was observed in 41.6%, DSC2 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) in 58.0%, DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) in 61.4%, E-cadherin (show CDH1 ELISA Kits) in 71.4%, CDX2 (show CDX2 ELISA Kits) in 58.0%, PITX1 (show PITX1 ELISA Kits) in 55.0%, CDK4 (show CDK4 ELISA Kits) in 0.2%, TLE1 in 1.3%, Factor H (show CFH ELISA Kits) in 42.5%, and MDM2 (show MDM2 ELISA Kits) in 0.2% of colorectal carcinomas.
The p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) target gene desmocollin 3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) acts as a novel tumor suppressor through inhibiting EGFR (show EGFR ELISA Kits)/ERK (show EPHB2 ELISA Kits) pathway in human lung cancer.
These findings demonstrate that IgG autoantibodies against an additional component of the desmosomes, Dsc3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits), induce loss of keratinocyte adhesion and thus may contribute to blister formation in pemphigus.
Methylation status of DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) DNA is a prognostic marker for colorectal cancer. P53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) appears to have an important role in regulating DSC3 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) expression.
plakoglobin (show JUP ELISA Kits) (Pg) in conjunction with lymphoid enhancer-binding factor 1 (Lef-1 (show LEF1 ELISA Kits)) differentially regulates the proximal promoters of Dsc2 (show DSC2 ELISA Kits) and Dsc3
hypothesize that DSC3 can contribute to the progression of tumors both by cell adhesion-dependent (skin surface) and likely by cell adhesion-independent (invading tumor cells) mechanisms
The function of DSC3 in the development and maintenance of stratified epithelia, in particular the epidermis and hair follicles, was investigated.
The protein encoded by this gene is a calcium-dependent glycoprotein that is a member of the desmocollin subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. These desmosomal family members, along with the desmogleins, are found primarily in epithelial cells where they constitute the adhesive proteins of the desmosome cell-cell junction and are required for cell adhesion and desmosome formation. The desmosomal family members are arranged in two clusters on chromosome 18, occupying less than 650 kb combined. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
