Both univariate and multivariate analysis demonstrated that REG1A expression was associated with OS and PFS, and conducted harmful effects on nasopharyngeal carcinoma progression and survival. This study suggested that REG1A expression could serve as an independent adverse factor for survival in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
Reg I may play a role in the maintenance of mucosal barrier function by inducing tight junction proteins such as claudins 3 and 4.
the prognostic value of procalcitonin (PCT (show UROD ELISA Kits)), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (show CRP ELISA Kits) (hs-CRP (show CRP ELISA Kits)), and pancreatic stone protein (PSP) in children with sepsis, was investigated.
REG-I is expressed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and is associated with a longer survival status.
We have established a novel, three-protein biomarker panel that is able to detect patients with early-stage pancreatic cancer in urine specimens:LYVE-1, REG1A, and TFF1 (show TFF1 ELISA Kits) were selected as candidate biomarkers
post-operative serum PSP (show MSMB ELISA Kits) levels were significantly associated with the presence of infection in both the on-pump and off-pump setting.
REG Ialpha protein may play a role in angiogenesis during progression of gastric cancer
PSP/reg is significantly up-regulated in T2DM patients, and PSP/reg levels are related to the duration of diabetes.
the expression of REG (show EXTL3 ELISA Kits) Ialpha and REG (show EXTL3 ELISA Kits) Ibeta may be upregulated in human beta cells under inflammatory conditions through the JAK (show JAK3 ELISA Kits)/STAT (show STAT1 ELISA Kits) pathway
Collectively, these findings suggest that REG (show EXTL3 ELISA Kits) Ialpha activates c-Jun (show JUN ELISA Kits) via the JNK (show MAPK8 ELISA Kits) and ERK (show EPHB2 ELISA Kits) pathway, thereby enhancing radiosensitivity
This gene is a type I subclass member of the Reg gene family. The Reg gene family is a multigene family grouped into four subclasses, types I, II, III and IV, based on the primary structures of the encoded proteins. This gene encodes a protein that is secreted by the exocrine pancreas. It is associated with islet cell regeneration and diabetogenesis and may be involved in pancreatic lithogenesis. Reg family members REG1B, REGL, PAP and this gene are tandemly clustered on chromosome 2p12 and may have arisen from the same ancestral gene by gene duplication.
