Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Additionally we are shipping Ribosomal Protein S12 Antibodies (64) and Ribosomal Protein S12 Kits (12) and many more products for this protein.

Streptomycin resistance is mainly related to mutation at codons 43 and 88 "rpsL" gene and to a lesser extent "rrs (show RARS Proteins)" that are the greatest cause of drug resistance to streptomycin.
Our findings provide the first demonstration that RPS12 (show MRPS12 Proteins) plays important roles in regulating the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells. S100A4 (show S100A4 Proteins) can mediate the effects of RPS12 (show MRPS12 Proteins) as a downstream effector
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. The protein belongs to the S12E family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Increased expression of this gene in colorectal cancers compared to matched normal colonic mucosa has been observed. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
