Immunogen: Donkey IgG whole molecule

Isotype IgG
Specificity IgG (H&L)
Cross-Reactivity Donkey
Characteristics Donkey IgG (H&L) antibody recognizes the heavy and light chains of the Donkey IgG molecule. Anti-Donkey IgG antibody is ideal for investigators involved in serum component protein research.
Concentration Definition: by UV absorbance at 280 nm
Purification Anti-Donkey IgG (H&L) was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Donkey IgG coupled to agarose.   Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin, anti-Goat Serum, Donkey IgG and Donkey Serum.
Antigen
Background

Synonyms: goat anti-Donkey IgG Antibody biotin conjugation, goat anti-Donkey IgG biotin conjugated Antibody

Background: Anti-Donkey IgG Biotin Antibody generated in goat detects donkey IgG. Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsinization for phagocytosis. The whole IgG molecule possesses both the F(c) region, recognized by high-affinity Fc receptor proteins, as well as the F(ab) region possessing the epitope-recognition site. Both heavy and light chains of the antibody molecule are present. Anti-Donkey IgG antibody is ideal for investigators involved in serum component protein research.

Application Notes

Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:5,000

Application Note: Anti-Donkey IgG (H&L) has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Donkey IgG in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:40,000 to 1:160,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

ELISA Dilution: 1:20,000 - 1:100,000

Western Blot Dilution: 1:2,000 - 1:10,000
