- Specificity
- Recognizes an internal, highly conserved amino acid sequence (VQEALD and VQAALD) found in both protein isoforms, P-glycoprotein and MDR3 P-glycoprotein, not species specific. Species Crossreactivity: human, mouse, rat and hamster. Crossreactivity Proteins: a ~200kD protein which migrates in the same position as myosin and with C-erbB2 protein (p185c-erbB2).

Approved: Flo, ICC, IHC, IHC-Fr, IHC-P, IP, WB (1:25 - 1:50)
Usage: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Flow Cytometry: Cell permeabilization required. Western Blot: 1:25-1:50. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Frozen): For paraffin sections, dilute 1:12.5 for biotin based detection. The antibody should be incubated for 60 minutes at RT. Immunocytochemistry: Cytospin preparations. Positive control: Cell lines: Appropriate drug-sensitive parental cell lines and their multidrug resistant derivatives prepared by the same methods as the test specimens can be used as control materials. - Comment
