This antibody is specific for CD94, also known as KLRD1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor, subfamily D, member 1). Clone DX22 is reported to inhibit the binding of CD94 to HLA-E(2) and HLA-G(4). We recommend the use of AM05552AF-N for functional studies.

CD94 is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of T lymphocytes. CD94 is found to associate with NKG2 to form a heterodimer which is involved in the inhibition of cell mediated cytotoxicity against cells bearing appropriate MHC class I allotypes.Synonyms: KLRD1, KP43, Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily D member 1, NK cell receptor, Natural killer cells antigen CD94
