Additional Information
| Alternative name | Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) |
| UniProt | P24530 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of human Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Isotype | IgG |
| Description | FUNCTION: Non-specific receptor for endothelin 1, 2, and 3. Mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Subcellular location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: Expressed in placental stem villi vessels, but not in cultured placental villi smooth muscle cells. Also known as: Endothelin receptor non-selective type, EDNRB, ETRB. |
| Specificity | Appears to be specific for EDNRB. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | IHC, WB. A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Purity | IgG |
| Purification | Unpurified, concentrated culture supernatant. |
| Storage | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
