Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the VHS domain of human GGA3 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The antigen is homologous in rat, mouse, chicken.
Isotype IgG
Specificity Specific for GGA3.
Alternative Name GGA3 (GGA3 Antibody Abstract)
Background Function: Plays a role in protein sorting and trafficking between the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes. Mediates the ARF-dependent recruitment of clathrin to the TGN and binds ubiquitinated proteins and membrane cargo molecules with a cytosolic acidic cluster-dileucine (AC-LL) motif.
Subcellular location: Golgi apparatus, trans-Golgi network membrane, Peripheral membrane protein. Endosome membrane, Peripheral membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Ubiquitously expressed. Also known as: ADP-ribosylation factor-binding protein GGA3, Golgi-localized, gamma ear-containing, ARF-binding protein 3, Gamma-adaptin-related protein 3.
Research Area Signaling
Application Notes A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 150 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage 4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Expiry Date 12 months
