Clone RB23555
Isotype Ig
Specificity This JUP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 642~672 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human JUP.
Predicted Reactivity Cow (Bovine),Mouse (Murine),Pig (Porcine),Rat (Rattus)
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name JUP
Background JUP is a major cytoplasmic protein which is the only known constituent common to submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. This protein forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat.
