Western Blotting (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FACS)

Clone

CTNG-1664
  • Purpose

    Catenin, gamma (Cardiomyocyte Marker) Antibody

    Specificity

It recognizes a protein of 80-87 kDa, identified as gamma-catenin. The catenins (-T-catenin, is located on chromosome 10, and mutations in this gene show a strong correlation to late-onset Alzheimer's disease (LOAD) as well as to dilated cardiomyopathy.

    Purification

200ug/ml of Ab Purified from Bioreactor Concentrate by Protein A/G.

    Immunogen

Recombinant full-length human gamma catenin protein

    Isotype

    IgG1, kappa
  • Application Notes

Positive Control: A431, T47D or MCF-7 cells. Skin.

Known Application: Flow Cytometry (1-2 μg/million cells), Immunofluorescence (1-2 μg/mL), Western Blot (1-2 μg/mL), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 μg/mL for 30 min at RT)(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes) Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.

    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Concentration

    200 μg/mL

    Buffer

    Prepared in 10 mM PBS with 0.05 % BSA & 0.05 % azide.

    Preservative

    Sodium azide

    Precaution of Use
