Human Retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) interaction partners

  1. data suggest that overexpression of p-RB1 in basal-parabasal layers of normal cervical epithelium was due to methylation/low functional-linked non-synonimous SNPs of P16 (show CDKN2A Antibodies) and RBSP3 (show CTDSPL Antibodies). This pattern was maintained during cervical carcinogenesis by additional deletion/mutation

  2. Studies suggest that mitochondrial ribosomal protein S18-2 protein, together with the retinoblastoma protein (RB), plays a crucial role in the control on cell stemness and differentiation

  3. Aberrant expressionof Rb is frequently occurred in lung adenocarcinoma patients with EGFR (show EGFR Antibodies) mutations.

  4. to our knowledge, the first report of miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-26a targeting Rb1 in colon cancer. The results of this study suggested that miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-26a could serve as a progression biomarker in colorectal cancer. Further validation studies are still needed to confirm our findings.

  5. the effect of low and medium dose radiation on mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) with inactivated RB1 gene, was investigated.

  6. a SUMO-deficient Rb mutant results in reduced SUMOylation and phosphorylation, weakened CDK2 (show CDK2 Antibodies) binding, and attenuated E2F-1 (show E2F1 Antibodies) sequestration.

  7. Statistically significant correlations were found only in Morbus Bowen (preinvasive cutaneous carcinoma) between parameters HPV-p53 (show TP53 Antibodies), p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)-pRb and p53 (show TP53 Antibodies)-p16 (show CDKN2A Antibodies).

  8. the previously reported CGI/retrocopy in intron 2 of the RB1 gene (PPP1R26P1) as well as the CGI associated with the retrocopy RPS2P32 identified in this study carry a maternal methylation imprint. In conclusion, these findings shed light on the evolutionary dynamics and constraints of DNA methylation (show HELLS Antibodies).

  9. Suppression of tumorigenesis by CADM1 (show CADM1 Antibodies) may be mediated by the Rb-E2F1 (show E2F1 Antibodies) pathway.

  10. The type and frequency of RB1 mutations in retinoblastoma patients were determined. Those who have deletions in the RB1 gene are at increased risk of chemoresistance and at higher risk of requiring enucleation.

Mouse (Murine) Retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) interaction partners

  1. systems-level control of cell cycle arrest by pRB (show PGR Antibodies)-E2F (show E2F1 Antibodies) and p27 (show CDKN1B Antibodies)-CDK (show CDK4 Antibodies) regulation, is reported.

  2. RB is necessary for the recruitment of the BRG1 (show SMARCA4 Antibodies) ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) to DNA double-strand breaks, which stimulates DNA end resection and homologous recombination

  3. Findings implicate Rb1 in the regulation of the THO ribonucleoprotein complex.

  4. contribution of these precursors to the Rb(+/-) adipose phenotype is driven, at least in part, by interaction with BMP7 (show BMP7 Antibodies) pathway

  5. Identify Dyrk1a (show DYRK1A Antibodies) as a novel negative regulator of D-cyclin (show PCNA Antibodies)-mediated Rb1/E2f (show E2F1 Antibodies)-signalling. As dysregulation of this pathway with impaired cardiomyocyte proliferation leads to cardiomyopathy.

  6. Expression of Kv10.1 (show KCNG3 Antibodies) driven by phosphorylated Rb/E2F1 (show E2F1 Antibodies) contributes to G2/M progression of cancer and non-transformed cells.

  7. These findings establish that Rb1 and Skp2 deletions are synthetic lethal and suggest how this lethal relationship might be circumvented, which could help design better therapies for pRb (show PGR Antibodies)-deficient cancer.

  8. Results indicate that Rb and p53 (show TP53 Antibodies) not only function as tumor suppressors in response to carcinogenic injury, but also in response to non-carcinogenic injury.

  9. Suggest that a principal role for RB1 in development is coordinating the events required for terminal differentiation of erythroid cells.

  10. data also suggest that Rb1 loss is not sufficient to transform post-germinal center B cells and that additional, specific mutations are likely required to cooperate with Rb1 loss to induce malignant transformation.

Zebrafish Retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) interaction partners

  1. Our results indicate that Rb-Raf-1 (show RAF1 Antibodies) interaction plays an important role in spontaneous hair cell regeneration in zebrafish

  2. our analysis of zebrafish rb1 mutants reveals a previously unknown yet critical role for rb1 during retinotectal tract development and visual function.

  3. Zebrafish usp39 (show USP37 Antibodies) regulates embryonic pituitary homeostasis by targeting rb1 and e2f4 (show E2F4 Antibodies) expression, respectively, contributing to increased adenohypophyseal sensitivity to these altered cell cycle regulators

Retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a negative regulator of the cell cycle and was the first tumor suppressor gene found. The encoded protein also stabilizes constitutive heterochromatin to maintain the overall chromatin structure. The active, hypophosphorylated form of the protein binds transcription factor E2F1. Defects in this gene are a cause of childhood cancer retinoblastoma (RB), bladder cancer, and osteogenic sarcoma.
