Human ADAM28 ELISA Kit for Sandwich ELISA - ABIN827142
Ozeki, Kawai, Yamaguchi, Hiyama, Kinoshita, Hase, Nakata, Kondo, Mogi, Nakamura: IL-1?-induced matrix metalloproteinase-13 is activated by a disintegrin and metalloprotease-28-regulated proliferation of human osteoblast-like cells. in Experimental cell research 2014
The authors report that recombinant human MDC-L (ADAM 28) protein with the disintegrin domain binds to the alpha(4)beta(1) integrin, and this binding may regulate the interaction between lymphocytes and leukocytes expressing alpha(4)beta(1).
Within placental villi, ADAM28 mRNA levels were highest in HLA-G (show HLAG ELISA Kits)(+) column trophoblasts, and consistent with this, ADAM28 was preferentially localized to HLA-G (show HLAG ELISA Kits)(+) trophoblasts within distal anchoring columns and decidual tissue.
There is a relationship between the serum level of ADAM28 and the degree of the colonic cancer clinical stage.
miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-552 is an oncomir able to promote CRC (show CALR ELISA Kits) metastasis in part through a mechanism of targeting ADAM28.
The data demonstrate that ADAM28 is expressed by epithelial cells of several normal organs, and suggest that ADAM28 plays a role in cell survival by suppression of C1q-induced cytotoxicity in bronchial epithelial cells.
ADAM28 is overexpressed in primary human prostate tumor biopsies, and it promotes human prostate cancer cell proliferation and migration.
Src (show SRC ELISA Kits) is an inducer of ADAM28 gene expression through the MEK (show MAP2K1 ELISA Kits)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase and PI3K (show PIK3CA ELISA Kits)/mammalian target of rapamycin (show FRAP1 ELISA Kits) pathways.
IL-1beta (show IL1B ELISA Kits)-induced MMP-13 (show MMP13 ELISA Kits) expression and changes in cell proliferation and apoptosis in alpha7(+)hSMSC-OB cells are regulated by ADAM-28.
Sequence analysis of ADAM28 genes did not reveal any putative mutations for hyperostosis cranialis interna to chromosome 8p21
The change of ADAM28 and IGFBP-3 (show IGFBP3 ELISA Kits) gene expression is present in the normal tissue in overweight/obese patients with colorectal cancer only, and the observed variability of ADAM28 and IGFBP-3 (show IGFBP3 ELISA Kits) expression may be an initial process of cancer proliferation
High ADAM28 expression is associated with B-Cell Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
This gene encodes a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain) family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. The protein encoded by this gene is a lymphocyte-expressed ADAM protein. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants. The shorter version encodes a secreted isoform, while the longer version encodes a transmembrane isoform.
