Human Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein L (HNRNPL) interaction partners

  1. The data demonstrate that the hnRNP L and its paralog, LL, differentially control hormone gene expression programs at multiple levels, and hnRNP L in particular is critical for protecting the transcriptome from aberrant usage of intronic sequences.

  2. CASC9:HNRNPL complex is a clinically relevant viability-associated lncRNA/protein complex which affects AKT signaling and DNA damage sensing in hepatocellular carcinoma.

  3. IRF1 and a variant of heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L coordinately regulate CEACAM1 transcription, alternative splicing, and translation and may significantly contribute to CEACAM1 silencing in cancer.

  4. High expression of HnRNP L is associated with oral squamous cell carcinoma.

  5. uc.345 could upregulate the hnRNPL expression and that inhibition of (hnRNPL) dampens the tumorigenesis capability of uc.345.

  6. HnRNP L is a novel regulator of HPV16 RNA processing.HnRNP L controls HPV16 RNA polyadenylation and splicing in an Akt kinase-dependent manner.

  7. Translation of VEGFA mRNA in myeloid cells is dictated by a bi-directional interaction between miR-574-3p, a CA-rich microRNA, and hnRNP L. In normoxia, miR-574-3p, acting as a decoy, binds cytoplasmic hnRNP L and prevents its binding to the CARE and stimulation of VEGFA mRNA translation, simultaneously permitting miR-297-mediated translational silencing.

  8. High HNRNPL expression is associated with prostate cancer.

  9. hnRNP-L contributes to poor prognosis and tumor progression of BC by inhibiting the intrinsic apoptotic signaling and enhancing MAPK signaling pathways

  10. hnRNP L inhibits proximal 5'SS but promotes two consecutive distal 5'SS splicing, antagonizing SRSF1 roles in KLF6 pre-mRNA splicing.

  11. HNRNPL acts as the adaptor to combine the two substructures and form the intact Sam68 nuclear body through the interaction of two sets of RNA recognition motifs with the putative architectural RNA in the respective substructures.

  12. hnRNPA2B1, hnRNPD, hnRNPL , and YBX1 might play important roles in gastric cancer tumorigenesis.

  13. hnRNP L controls inclusion of a broad spectrum of alternative cassette exons in T cells.

  14. The study presents the structural characterization of the RNA recognition motif domains of hnRNP-L and demonstrate their function in repressing exon 4 of SLC2A2.

  15. HnRNP C, YB-1 and hnRNP L coordinately enhance skipping of human MUSK exon 10 to generate a Wnt-insensitive MuSK isoform.

  16. Data suggest that incorporation of 3(S)-methyl-beta-alanine into a short alpha-helical region of nucleic acid binding domain of hnRNP LL significantly stabilizes helix without affecting its DNA binding properties.

  17. Our results reveal that hnRNP L is a new regulator for CD44 V10 exon splicing.

  18. hnRNP K and hnRNP L may serve as A1CF-like cofactors in AID-mediated class switch recombination and somatic hypermutation

  19. Results show that HNRNPL represses splicing when bound to intronic regions upstream of alternative exons, and in contrast, activates splicing when bound to the downstream intron.

  20. hnRNP L is a potential biomarker for the diagnosis of HBV-HCC and show that hnRNP L contributes to HCC progression.

Mouse (Murine) Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein L (HNRNPL) interaction partners

  1. data suggest that hnRNP L is critical for the survival and functional integrity of HSCs by restricting the activation of caspase-dependent death receptor pathways

  2. lncLGR facilitates the recruitment of hnRNPL to the GCK promoter and suppresses GCK transcription.

  3. Hnrnpl binds to p53 and inhibits its activation in mouse embryonic stem cells.

  4. Aire-containing complexes include 7SK RNA, the latter interaction disrupted by HNRNPL knockdown, suggesting that HNRNPL may partake in delivering inactive P-TEFb to Aire

  5. Results identify a cancer-specific mechanism of hnRNP L phosphorylation and subsequent lowering of the caspase-9a/9b ratio, which is required for the tumorigenic capacity of non-small cell lung cancer cells.

  6. identified hnRNP L as a novel Sam68-interacting protein partner.

  7. Inflammation modulates the interaction of hnRNP I and hnRNP L with the 3'untranslated region of the murine inducible nitric-oxide synthase mRNA

  8. decreased surface alpha2beta1 results from decreased Itga2 pre-mRNA splicing regulated by hnRNP L and depends on CA repeat length at a specific site in intron 1

  9. iNOS mRNA degradation is promoted upon binding of hnRNPI and hnRNPL to a destabilizing region within its 3'-UTR

HNRNPL Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

Heterogeneous nuclear RNAs (hnRNAs) which include mRNA precursors and mature mRNAs are associated with specific proteins to form heterogenous ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complexes. Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L is among the proteins that are stably associated with hnRNP complexes and along with other hnRNP proteins is likely to play a major role in the formation, packaging, processing, and function of mRNA. Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L is present in the nucleoplasm as part of the HNRP complex. HNRP proteins have also been identified outside of the nucleoplasm. Exchange of hnRNP for mRNA-binding proteins accompanies transport of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. Since HNRP proteins have been shown to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm, it is possible that they also have cytoplasmic functions. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
