    Background

Background: F-actin-capping proteins bind in a Ca(2+)-independent manner to the fast growing ends of actin filaments (barbed end) thereby blocking the exchange of subunits at these ends. Unlike other capping proteins (such as gelsolin and severin), these proteins do not sever actin filaments.

Aliases: Cap Z antibody, Cappa 1 antibody, Cappa1 antibody, Capping protein (actin filament) muscle Z line alpha 1 antibody, Capping protein alpha 1 antibody, Capping protein muscle Z line alpha 1 antibody, CapZ alpha 1 antibody, CapZ alpha-1 antibody, CAPZ antibody, CAPZA 1 antibody, Capza1 antibody, CAZ 1 antibody, CAZ1 antibody, CAZA1_HUMAN antibody, F actin capping protein alpha 1 subunit antibody, F-actin-capping protein subunit alpha-1 antibody
