Characteristics
  • Recombinant human NEK11 (transcript variant 1) protein expressed in HEK293 cells.
  • Produced with end-sequenced ORF clone
Purity > 80 % as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining
Protein Name
Background This gene encodes a member of the never in mitosis gene A family of kinases. The encoded protein localizes to the nucleoli, and may function with NEK2A in the S-phase checkpoint. The encoded protein appears to play roles in DNA replication and response to genotoxic stress. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009].
Molecular Weight 74 kDa
NCBI Accession NP_079076
Application Notes Recombinant human proteins can be used for:
Native antigens for optimized antibody production
Positive controls in ELISA and other antibody assays
Protein-protein interaction
In vitro biochemical assays and cell-based functional assays
Comment

The tag is located at the C-terminal.
