- Purpose
- Rat IgG IgA IgM (H&L) Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated
- Cross-Reactivity (Details)
- Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase and anti-Goat Serum. This reagent is suitable for the detection of all Rat immunoglobulin isotypes and chain combinations.
- Characteristics
- Anti-Rat IgG whole molecule antibody generated in goat detects specifically Rat IgG whole molecule. This secondary antibody anti-Rat is ideal for investigators who routinely perform ELISA, Sandwich ELISA, titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays.
- Purification
- Anti-Rat IgG IgA IgM (H&L) Antibody, Peroxidase Conjugated, was prepared from polyspecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
- Immunogen
- Optional[Immunogen]: Rat IgG, IgA and IgM whole molecules
- Isotype
- IgG

- Application Notes
- Application Note: Anti-Rat IgG IgA IgM Antibody Peroxidase Conjugated has been tested by ELISA and is suitable for immunoassays where reactivity to different classes of rat immunoglobulins is desired. Antibody has been tested by ELISA, western blot, and immunohistochemistry. Optimal concentrations in immunoassays should be determined by the researcher. - Background
- Rat IgG IgA IgM (H&L) Antibody detects immunoglobulin G, A, and M from Rat. Immunoglobulin G binds to antigens and can neutralize or opsonize targets, and are predominantly involved in the secondary immune response. Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is an antibody that plays a critical role in mucosal immunity. IgA has two subclasses (IgA1 and IgA2) and can exist in a dimeric form called secretory IgA (sIgA). Immunoglobulin M, or IgM, is a pentamer composed of 5 immunoglobulin molecules linked through their F(c) domain by the J chain.
