Cow (Bovine) Polyclonal ABCE1 Primary Antibody for EIA, WB - ABIN374991
Shichijo, Ishihara, Azuma, Komatsu, Higashimoto, Ito, Nakamura, Ueno, Harada, Itoh: ABCE1, a member of ATP-binding cassette transporter gene, encodes peptides capable of inducing HLA-A2-restricted and tumor-reactive cytotoxic T lymphocytes in colon cancer patients. in Oncology reports 2005
Expression of the ABCE1-silencing gene, transfected by electrotransfer, could inhibit the proliferation, invasion, and migration of thyroid cancer cells.
Downregulation of ABCE1 via siRNA affects the sensitivity of lung cancer cells against chemotherapeutic agents.
ABCE1 is closely associated with cell proliferation, invasion and migration in esophageal cancer and silencing the ABCE1 gene by electroporation can significantly reduce the proliferation, invasion and migration capacity
ABCE1 is able to suppress RNA silencing in Nicotiana benthamiana plants, in mammalian HEK293 cells and in the worm Caenorhabditis elegans.
ABCE1 is closely connected with the pathogenesis and development of oral cancer, which acts through the cellular pathways of 2-5A/RNase L (show RNASEL Antibodies).
ABCE1 is closely connected with the pathogenesis and development of esophageal carcinoma, which act through the cellular pathways of 2-5A/RNase L (show RNASEL Antibodies).
Studies indicate a strong sequence conservation of ABC (show ABCB6 Antibodies)-type ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) ABCE1 in eukaryotes and archaea.
ABCE1 protein regulates a broad range of biological functions including viral infection, tumor cell proliferation, and antiapoptosis. (Review)
Pulse chase experiments and immunoelectron microscopy shows that HIV-1 Gag associates transiently with ABCE1 during HIV-1 capsid assembly, including at the plasma membrane where assembly is completed.
For binding of WT HIV-1 Gag to the cellular ATPase (show DNAH8 Antibodies) ABCE1, which facilitates HIV-1 capsid assembly, the basic residues in the nucleocapsid domain of Gag are required but the cysteine and histidine residues in the nucleocapsid domain are dispensable.
Expression of RNase L (show RNASEL Antibodies) is a signal generated by NMDA receptor in cortical neurons. RNase L (show RNASEL Antibodies) expression and RNA degradation may be events that cause neuronal damage induced by NMDA receptor activation.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the OABP subfamily. Alternatively referred to as the RNase L inhibitor, this protein functions to block the activity of ribonuclease L. Activation of ribonuclease L leads to inhibition of protein synthesis in the 2-5A/RNase L system, the central pathway for viral interferon action. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
