Format
Serum
Description
Choline Oxidase catalyzes the oxidation of choline and betaine aldehyde to betaine withconcomitant consumption of oxygen and production of hydrogen peroxide.
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified andpartially purified Choline Oxidase [Alcaligenes species]. Cross reactivity against Choline Oxidase from other sources is unknown.

Application Notes
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Choline Oxidase[Alcaligenes species] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated AffinityPurified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 4,000 to 1: 32,000 of the reconstitutionconcentration is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
