Additional Information

Immunogen Sonicated crude membrane fraction of porcine pancreatic islets of langerhans cells.
Specificity This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by amulti-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchangechromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-DogSerum. Cross reactivity was determined by immunoblot (western) to be minimal against porcinekidney and porcine liver cell lysates.

Application Details

Application Notes Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot) and ELISA. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Pancreatic IsletLysate [Porcine Pancreas] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugatedAffinity Purified anti-Dog IgG [H&L] (Goat) and o-Phenylenediamine (OPD) as a substrate. Aworking dilution of 1: 50 to 1: 100 is suggested for this product. This product has beenassayed against 1.5 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate [Porcine Pancreas] per lane byImmunoblot (Western) under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE prior to transfer tonitrocellulose and detection using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG[H&L] (Goat) and Diaminobenzidine (DAB) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1: 50 to1: 200 is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
