Immunogen

Sonicated crude membrane fraction of porcine pancreatic islets of langerhans cells.

Specificity
This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by amulti-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchangechromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-DogSerum. Cross reactivity was determined by immunoblot (western) to be minimal against porcinekidney and porcine liver cell lysates.

Application Notes
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot) and ELISA. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 ug of Pancreatic IsletLysate [Porcine Pancreas] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugatedAffinity Purified anti-Dog IgG [H&L] (Goat) and o-Phenylenediamine (OPD) as a substrate. Aworking dilution of 1: 50 to 1: 100 is suggested for this product. This product has beenassayed against 1.5 ug of Pancreatic Islet Lysate [Porcine Pancreas] per lane byImmunoblot (Western) under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE prior to transfer tonitrocellulose and detection using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Dog IgG[H&L] (Goat) and Diaminobenzidine (DAB) as a substrate. A working dilution of 1: 50 to1: 200 is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
