Western Blotting (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))
  • Specificity

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Pepsin [Porcine stomach]. Cross reactivity against Pepsin from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.

    Purification

Prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination.

    Immunogen

    Pepsin [Porcine stomach].
  • Application Notes

Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostImmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Pepsin [Porcinestomach] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purifiedanti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonicacid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1: 3,000 to1: 11,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
