Specificity This antibody recognises the HLA-A2 histocompatability antigen. The epitope recognised by this antibody has been studied extensively and would appear to include the carboxy-terminus of the alpha-2 helix and a turn on one of the underlying beta strands. This antibody may be used for the Flow Cytometric detection of HLA-A2 expression and has also been used for immunoaffinity purification of HLA-A2 molecules.

Application Notes Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Recommended Positive Control: Tonsil. Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml, Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells or 100ul whole blood. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
