Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))
    Specificity
This antibody recognises the HLA-A2 histocompatability antigen. The epitope recognised by this antibody has been studied extensively and would appear to include the carboxy-terminus of the alpha-2 helix and a turn on one of the underlying beta strands. This antibody may be used for the Flow Cytometric detection of HLA-A2 expression and has also been used for immunoaffinity purification of HLA-A2 Molecules.
    Purification
    Affinity Chromatography on Protein G
    Immunogen
Papain solubilized HLA-A2. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NS1 myeloma cell line.
    Clone
    BB7-2
    Isotype
    IgG2b
  • Application Notes
Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections. Recommended Positive Control: Tonsil. Flow Cytometry: 10 μg/mL, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells or 100 μL whole blood.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Influenza Protein
    Background
Human leukocyte antigens are highly polymorphic proteins that are involved in the presentation of antigens to the T cell receptor. There are two classes of HLA antigens, class I (HLA A, HLA B and HLA C) and class II (HLA D).Synonyms: A-2 alpha chain, HLA class I histocompatibility antigen, HLAA2, MHC class I antigen A-2
