Application Details

Application Notes: Immunocytochemistry. Immunohistochemistry with formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues: 5-9 μg/mL Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100 °C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Further Comments: This product was originally produced by MBL International.

Background: GPR35 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand. GPR35 expression was reported only in rat intestine by Northern hybridization, however, another study showed that GPR35 is expressed widely, including pancreatic islets and skeletal muscle, with higher levels in adult lung, small intestine, colon, and stomach. ESTs have been isolated from human fetal lung/testis/B-cell, colon (normal, cancer, and Crohn's disease), breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and leukemia libraries.Synonyms: G-protein coupled receptor 35, KYNA receptor, Kynurenic acid receptor
