Additional Information

Alternative name Sucrose phosphate synthase, global (SPS)
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from conserved region within plant SPSprotein sequences, including Arabidopsis thaliana isoforms 1F Q94BT0, 2F, 3Fand 4F. Oryza sativa Q67WN8, Solanum tuberosum Q43845
Format Lyophilized
Description SPS (sucrose phosphate synthase, EC 2.4.1.14) is the key enzyme of carbon fluxinto sucrose fixation in plants. It catalyzes the synthesis of sucrose-phosphatefrom UDP-glucose and fructose-6-phosphate predominantly in the cytosol ofsucrose-source leaf tissue.
Specificity Predicted reactivity: dicots including: Glycine max, Vicia faba,Solanum tuberosum, monocotsincluding: Oryza sativa, trees: Populus balsamifera, Robinia pseudoacacia, moss:Physcomitrella patens.

Application Details

Application Notes Recommended Dilution 1: 1000 - 1: 5000 with standard ECL (WB).
Buffer Affinity purified serum in PBS pH 7.4
Storage store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
