Description
SPS (sucrose phosphate synthase, EC 2.4.1.14) is the key enzyme of carbon fluxinto sucrose fixation in plants. It catalyzes the synthesis of sucrose-phosphatefrom UDP-glucose and fructose-6-phosphate predominantly in the cytosol ofsucrose-source leaf tissue.

Specificity
Predicted reactivity: dicots including: Glycine max, Vicia faba,Solanum tuberosum, monocotsincluding: Oryza sativa, trees: Populus balsamifera, Robinia pseudoacacia, moss:Physcomitrella patens.

Buffer
Affinity purified serum in PBS pH 7.4
Storage
store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
