Immunogen Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 96 of human DAP1.
Specificity The antibody detects 15 kDa full length DAP1.
Purification Affinity Chromatography
Alternative Name Death-Associated Protein 1
Background Death Associated Protein 1 (DAP1) is a 15 kDa protein that functions as a positive mediator of cell death initiated by interferon-gamma. The DAP1 protein is praline-rich and possesses one SH3 binding motif, as well as several consensus protein kinase phosphorylation sites. The protein is localized in the cytoplasma, however the detailed mechanism of its proapoptotic function is unclear.
Alternate names: DAP, DAP-1, DAP1
Gene ID 1611
NCBI Accession NP_004385.1
UniProt P51397
Application Notes Western Blot: 0.5-4 μg/ml. Immunoprecipitation: 20 μg/ml. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
