Background: WC1 expression appears to be heterogeneous and antibodies of this cluster show differing reaction patterns. CC101 immunoprecipitates a 215 kD molecule from bovine cells, and also recognises the swine homologue of WC1, which is a 180kD molecule. In pigs the 180kD molecule is expressed by a gamma/delta TCR positive T-cell population that is also CD2-, CD4-, CD8-.Synonyms: WC1 antigen
