Application Details

Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16,000. Western Blot: No signal obtained yet but low background observed in human heart and 293 lysates at up to 2µg/ml. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Skeletal Muscle shows spotty staining on muscle fibres in longitudinal section. Recommended concentration, 2.5µg/ml. Data obtained from a previous batch.

Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Buffer: 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.

Storage: Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
