Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Approx 45kDa band observed in Human Kidney and Heart lysates (calculated MW of 46.6kDa according to NP_000007.1). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing ACADM bands of approx. 48kDa and 50kDa are observed. These bands are not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Recommended for use at 0.01-0.1µg/ml.

Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Buffer: 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.

Storage: Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

ABIN184850 staining (0.05µg/ml) of Human Heart lysate (RIPA buffer, 35µg total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.

HEK293 overexpressing ACADM (RC202798) with C-terminal tag (DYKDDDDK) and probed with anti-DYKDDDDK in the left panel and with ABIN184850 in the right panel (mock transfection in first and last lanes), tested by Origene.
