Application Details

Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Approx 120kDa band detected in HFF cell lysates. Data kindly provided by Laura Papp and Kum Kum Khanna. The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Papp et al, Mol Cell Biol. 2006 Jul,26(13):4895-910, PMID: 16782878). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3µg/ml. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Testis shows granular cytoplasm staining in Leydig cells. Recommended concentration, 3µg/ml. This antibody has also been used successfully for Immunoprecipitation.

Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Buffer: 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
