Application Details

Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128,000. Western Blot: In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing DGAT2 bands of approx. 60kDa and 45kDa are observed. These bands are not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Similar results are observed in Human Liver lysates. The calculated molecular size is 43.8kDa according to NP_115953.2. Recommended concentration, 0.3-1µg/ml. Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Liver shows granular cytoplasm staining of hepatocytes. Recommended concentration, 3µg/ml. Full caption for WB picture: HEK293 overexpressing DGAT2 (lane A) and probed with ABIN190849 (mock transfection in laneB). ABIN190849 (0.5µg/ml) staining of Human Liver lysate in the third lane (35µg protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence. ABIN190849 (3µg/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Liver. Microwaved antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9, HRP-staining.

Purification: Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.

Buffer: 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.

Storage: Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
