Hsp101/ClpB is a member of HSP100 protein family. These proteins helpdissociate protein aggregates formed during heat stress to allow them to berefolded by other chaperones.Besides expression during heat stress, members ofHSP100 protein family are also expressed during seed development. Hsp101protein is both nuclear- and cytoplasmic-localized (1, 2).
