    CD272 (BTLA Products)
    Background
The MIH26 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD272, the human and B and T lymphocyte attenuator (BTLA). It is expressed on macrophage, dendritic, NK, NKT, B, and T cells. CD272 (BTLA) is an inhibitory receptor that inhibits T cell proliferation after binding with its ligand, the herpes virus entry mediator (HVEM). It is in the CD28-like family of receptors and is structurally similar to CTLA-4 and PD-1.
