Description: Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a 150 kDa soluble protein that serves as a major effectormolecule of the humoral immune response in man. Its concentration in blood plasma ofhealthy individuals is approximately 10 g/l, which accounts for about 75% of the total plasmaimmunoglobulins. IgG has the highest stability of blood immunoglobulins (T1/2 = 21 days)and is able of placental transfer. IgG is secreted by plasma cells at a comparably high rateas other immunoglobulins.

Specificity: The antibody EM-07 reacts with Fc part of human IgG heavy chain and with isolated Fc fragments.

Application Details

Application Notes: The peroxidase conjugate is designed for ELISA and. Suggested working dilution for ELISA is 0.1 - 0.5 µg/ml. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator.

Buffer: The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.01% (w/v)thimerosal and 1% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as astabilizing agent.
