Description
C1q associates with complement components C1r and C1s, which are required for the progression of the proteolytic complement cascade. Deficiency of C1q has been associated with lupus erythematosus and glomerulonephritis. Alternate Names: Complement C1q subcomponent.
Specificity
This antibody recognises C1q, which is a sub-component of complement C1.
