Immunogen This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Y518 of human ACK1.
Specificity This antibody detects TNK2 / ACK1 pTyr518.
Purification Protein A Chromatography followed by two-step phosphospecific peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name TNK2 / ACK1
Background ACK1 is a tyrosine kinase that binds Cdc42Hs in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42Hs. This binding is mediated by a unique sequence of 47 amino acids C-terminal to an SH3 domain. The protein may be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42Hs and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway.
Alternate names: Activated CDC42 kinase 1
Molecular Weight 114327 Da
Gene ID 10188, 9606
UniProt Q07912
Application Notes ELISA: 1/1,000. Dot Blot: 1/500. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
