Additional Information

Characteristics Synonyms: WBP-2, WW domain-binding protein 2
Gene ID 23558
Swiss-Prot Q969T9
Immunogen This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated syntheticpeptide selected from the C-terminal region of human WBP2.
Cross-Reactivity Human
Isotype Ig  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Description The globular WW domain is composed of 38 to 40 semiconserved amino acids shared byproteins of diverse functions including structural, regulatory, and signaling proteins. Thedomain is involved in mediating protein-protein interactions through the binding ofpolyproline ligands. WBP2 is a WW domain binding protein, which binds to the WW domainof Yes kinase-associated protein by its PY motifs. The function of this protein has not beendetermined.
Specificity This antibody reacts to WBP2. Species: Human. Others not tested.
