The Rabbit Polyclonal anti-ALDH1L1 antibody (ABIN360201) specifically detects ALDH1L1 in WB, IHC (p) and EIA.
The antibody is reactive with Human and Mouse samples.
Prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS

(Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 1 Family, Member L1 (ALDH1L1))
Alternative Name
ALDH1L1 / FTHFD
Background
ALDH1L1 catalyzes the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate, NADP, and water to tetrahydrofolate, NADPH, and carbon dioxide. The encoded protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family and is responsible for formate oxidation in vivo. Deficiencies in this gene can result in an accumulation of formate and subsequent methanol poisoning.Synonyms: 10-formyltetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase, Aldehyde dehydrogenase family 1 member L1
