Albendazole, methyl N-(6-propylsulfanyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)carbamate, is abenzimidazole broad-spectrum anthelmintic effective against many diseases caused byparasitic worms. It is used therapeutically in the treatment of Helminthiasis in man andanimal.
