    Specificity

    DS-PB-02419 reacts with numerous proteins in a soluble C. albicans extract in immunoelectrophoresis. Candida albicans is the most frequently isolated fungal pathogen of humans. It principally infects the skin and mucosal surfaces causing candidiasis or thrush. This antibody has not been absorbed and cross reacts with other yeasts.
