Comments

Background: ABL2 is a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase which is closely related to but distinct from ABL1. The similarity of the proteins includes the tyrosine kinase domains and extends amino-terminal to include the SH2 and SH3 domains. ABL2 is expressed in both normal and tumor cells. The ABL2 gene product is expressed as two variants bearing different amino termini, both approximately 12-kb in length. The peptide used to generate this antibody is 100% conserved between ABL2 and ABL1.

Application Details

Application Notes The suggested dilution is: ELISA~~1:1,000 Western bloting~~1:100~500
Concentration 0.25 mg/ml
Purification Purified
Buffer Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is first purified by protein G affinity chromatography. Then, the antibody fraction is peptide affinity purified. The antibody is eluted with high and low pH buffers
Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Research Area Phospho-specific antibodies, Cell Signaling, Protein Modifications, Cancer, Cell Cycle, Cell Structure
Restrictions For Research Use only
