Description
CD62L (L-selectin) is an adhesion glycoprotein that is constitutively expressed on the cellsurface of leukocytes and mediates their homing to inflammatory sites and peripheral lymphnodes by enabling rolling along the venular wall. CD62L is also involved inactivation-induced neutrophil aggregation. Activation-dependent CD62L shedding, however, counteracts neutrophil rolling. CD62L has also signaling roles including enhance ofchemokine receptor expression. Similarly to CD62P, the major ligand of CD62L is PSGL-1(P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1).
Specificity
The antibody LT-TD180 reacts with CD62L (L-selectin), a 74-95 kDa single chain type Iglycoprotein expressed on most peripheral blood B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes, monocytesand granulocytes, it is also present on a subset of NK cells and certain hematopoieticmalignant cells.

Application Notes
The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 20 µl reagent / 100 µl of whole blood or 10 6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (2 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.
Buffer
The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azideand 0.2% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a stabilizing agent.
Storage
Store in the dark at 2-8 o C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.Short-term exposure to room temperature should not affect the quality of the reagent. However, if reagent is stored under any conditions other than those specified, the conditions must be verified by the user.
