Additional Information

Gene ID IGHE, chromosome 14q32.33
Source (Details) Source of protein: Human B cell hybridoma from healthy donors (CD40 cell culture system)
Format Affinity-purified, Low-endotoxin, azide-free (LEAF)
Isotype IgE lambda
Clone SUS11-NBS01
Description Recombinant human IgE to be used as reference for IgE concentration measurements in biological samples (ELISA, FACS). IgE (SUS-11) recognizes the human high affinity IgE receptor (FceRIa), the human low affinity IgE receptor (CD23) and does not interact with the corresponding IgE receptors of other species. It can be used as functional reagent in mast cell / basophil cellular assays, e.g. for controlled sensitization of such cells and subsequent cross-linking with either anti-human IgE mAbs mAb LE27 or a specific recombinant cross-linking agent.
Specificity Binds with Fc effector domain to human and non human primate IgE receptors, no cross-reactivity with rodent or canine IgE receptors, specific antigen unknown

Application Details

Application Notes For functional cellular assays (mast cell / basophil activation), in particular when used at dilutions < 1:100 Quality assurance: Reactivity > 99%, compared to calibrator (Internal Standard mAb BSW17), tested by ELISA binding to immobilized human Standard IgE (SUS-11)
Concentration 1mg/ml
Purity > 95%, tested by analytical Gel Permeation Chromatography
Purification Affinity - purified from cell culture supernatant by Immunoaffinity Chromatography on CH-Sepharose 4B
Buffer PBS, pH=7.2, sterile filtered, contains no NaN3
Storage Store undiluted at 4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C
Research Area Allergy
Restrictions For Research Use only
