Mouse (Murine) Polyclonal AKAP8 Primary Antibody for ELISA, WB - ABIN250209
Eide, Coghlan, Orstavik, Holsve, Solberg, Skâlhegg, Lamb, Langeberg, Fernandez, Scott, Jahnsen, Taskén: Molecular cloning, chromosomal localization, and cell cycle-dependent subcellular distribution of the A-kinase anchoring protein, AKAP95. in Experimental cell research 1998
Human Polyclonal AKAP8 Primary Antibody for FACS, ICC - ABIN4278933
Li, Kao, Garcia, Shabanowitz, Hunt, Qin, Phelan, Lazar: A novel histone deacetylase pathway regulates mitosis by modulating Aurora B kinase activity. in Genes & development 2006
Results suggest that ALK generated by alternative transcription Initiation induces chromatin structural changes and heterochromatinization through phosphorylation of AKAP8 in the nucleus.
Using a BioID proximity-based proteomic screen, we identify the nuclear pore complex protein TPR as a novel AKAP95 binding partner. We show interaction between AKAP95 and TPR in mitosis, and an AKAP95-dependent enrichment of TPR in the spindle microtubule area in metaphase, then later in the spindle midzone area.
Report expression of connexin 43 (show GJA1 Antibodies) in ovarian cancer cells in G1/S phase.
The data indicate that AKAP95 is a novel nucleolus-associated protein with a regulatory role on rRNA production.
Gene dosage at 19p13.12, and AKAP8 and/or AKAP8L (show AKAP8L Antibodies) in particular, play an important role in modulation of head size and may contribute to autism risk.
These results suggest that AKAP8 is involved in the regulation of chromatin structural changes through nuclear tyrosine phosphorylation.
Ectopic AKAP95 stimulates expression of a chromosomal reporter gene in synergy with MLL1 or MLL2 (show MLL2 Antibodies), whereas AKAP95 depletion impairs retinoic acid-mediated gene induction in embryonic stem cells
AMY-1 (show AMY1A Antibodies) interacts with S-AKAP84 (show AKAP1 Antibodies) and this protein in the cytoplasm and the nucleus, respectively, and inhibits cAMP-dependent protein kinase (show CDK7 Antibodies) activity by preventing binding of its catalytic subunit to A-kinase-anchoring protein (show AKAP13 Antibodies) (AKAP (show AKAP1 Antibodies)) complex.
role of AKAP95 in DNA replication by providing a scaffold for MCM2 (show MCM2 Antibodies)
AKAP95 is a potential carrier protein for active caspase 3 (show CASP3 Antibodies) from the cytoplasm into the nuclei in apoptotic cells.
This study showed an increase in the level of global DNA methylation (show HELLS Antibodies) starting in oocytes with diameters around 60 microm, increases in histone h4 (show HIST1H4H Antibodies), and decreases in AKAP95.
a specific role for A kinase-anchoring protein (show MYRIP Antibodies) 95 in suppressing the expression of the gene encoding tumor necrosis factor-alpha (show TNF Antibodies), which involved phosphorylation of p105 (show NEDD9 Antibodies) (also known as Nfkb1 (show NFKB1 Antibodies)) by PKA
This gene encodes a member of the A-kinase anchor protein family. A-kinase anchor proteins are scaffold proteins that contain a binding domain for the RI/RII subunit of protein kinase A (PKA) and recruit PKA and other signaling molecules to specific subcellular locations. This gene encodes a nuclear A-kinase anchor protein that binds to the RII alpha subunit of PKA and may play a role in chromosome condensation during mitosis by targeting PKA and the condensin complex to chromatin. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the short arm of chromosome 9.
