More Proteins for Chaperonin GroEL (GroEL) Interaction Partners

Human Chaperonin GroEL (GroEL) interaction partners

  1. the effect of Hsp60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) on differentiation and invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma cells might be associated with mitochondrial biogenesis

  2. The results demonstrate that HSP60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) participates in mitochondrial progesterone synthesis. These findings provide novel insights into progesterone synthesis in the human placenta and its role in maintaining pregnancy.

  3. Clinical data showed that upregulation of miR (show MLXIP Proteins)-382/3-NT and downregulation of HSPD1 (show HSPD1 Proteins)/Trx (show VAC14 Proteins) were also observed in IgA nephropathy patients with renal interstitial fibrosis. These data supported a novel mechanism in which miR (show MLXIP Proteins)-382 targets HSPD1 (show HSPD1 Proteins) and contributes to the redox imbalance in the development of renal fibrosis.

  4. Low HSP60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) expression is associated with beta-cell hypertrophy and dysfunction.

  5. high level of ROS (show ROS1 Proteins) is needed for tumorigenesis and progression in tumors with low HSP60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) expression

  6. HSP60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) regulation of SOX9 (show SOX9 Proteins) ubiquitination mitigates the development of knee osteoarthritis.

  7. These findings shed some light on how a tumor cell may avert apoptosis using Hsp60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) and point to the anti-cancer potential of drugs, such as CubipyOXA, which interfere with Hsp60 (show HSPD1 Proteins)/pC3 (show PCSK1 Proteins) complex formation, and thus allow the apoptotic cascade to proceed.

  8. The associations of diabetes, combined with the polymorphisms in the genes of fat mass and obesity-associated (show FTO Proteins) gene (FTO (show FTO Proteins)), interleukin 6 (IL-6 (show IL6 Proteins)), and heat shock protein 60 (HSPD1 (show HSPD1 Proteins)), with breast cancer risk and survival in a Chinese Han population, was evaluated.

  9. 27-Hydroxycholesterol upregulates the production of HSP60 (show HSPD1 Proteins) in monocytic cells.

  10. data indicate that HSP65 (show HSPD1 Proteins) suppresses cholesterol efflux and increases cellular cholesterol content through an Lck (show LCK Proteins)-mediated pathway in T cells

Chaperonin GroEL (GroEL) Protein Profile

Protein Summary

This gene encodes a member of the chaperonin family. The encoded mitochondrial protein may function as a signaling molecule in the innate immune system. This protein is essential for the folding and assembly of newly imported proteins in the mitochondria. This gene is adjacent to a related family member and the region between the 2 genes functions as a bidirectional promoter. Several pseudogenes have been associated with this gene. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene. Mutations associated with this gene cause autosomal recessive spastic paraplegia 13.
