  • Application Notes

Application Note: Anti-Folate Binding Protein has been tested by western blot and is suitable to be assayed against 1.0 μg of Folate Binding Protein in a standard capture ELISA using Peroxidase Conjugated Streptavidin #S000-03 and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  A working dilution of 1:4,000 to 1:20,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.

    Western Blot Dilution: 1:500 - 1:1,000

    Immunoprecipitation Dilution: 1:100

    ELISA Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:2,500

    Background
Background: Anti-Folate Binding Protein antibody belongs to the folate receptor family and binds to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives. It further regulates delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to the cell interior. Folate expresses solely in epithelial tissues, and expression is increased in malignant tissues. Anti-Folate Binding Protein antibody is ideal for researchers investigating Tags & Cell Markers and Cancer research.
