NDN (show NDN Antibodies) and CD1A are novel prognostic methylation markers in patients with head and neck squamous carcinomas
Findings suggest that dermal survivin (show BIRC5 Antibodies)+CD1a+ (CD1a antigen) cell infiltration may be a potential biomarker of systemic sclerosis skin lesions.
plasma-derived lipids drive functional levels of CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) expression.
Studies indicate that many CD1 antigen-restricted T cells do not require foreign antigens for activation but instead can be activated by self-lipids presented by CD1.
High CD1a-positive dendritic cell density is associated with improved disease-free survival in papillary thyroid carcinoma.
the expression of WNT4 (show WNT4 Antibodies), a Wnt (show WNT2 Antibodies) ligand, and three targets of Wnt (show WNT2 Antibodies)-ss-catenin transcription activation, namely, MMP7 (show MMP7 Antibodies), cyclinD1 (CD1) and c-MYC (show MYC Antibodies) in 141 penile tissue cores from 101 unique samples, were investigated.
Studies indicate that the antigen-presenting molecules CD1 and MHC class I-related protein (MR1 (show MR1 Antibodies)) display lipids and small molecules to T cells.
The presence of CD1a(+) T-cells in all of the LCH lesions that we have studied to date warrants further investigation into their biological function to determine whether these cells are important in the pathogenesis of LCH
A polymorphism in human CD1A is associated with susceptibility to tuberculosis.
[review] Humans express both Group 1 (CD1a, CD1b (show CD1B Antibodies) and CD1c (show CD1C Antibodies)) and Group 2 (CD1d) CD1 (show KY Antibodies) molecules with nonredundant functions in response to the presentation of endogenous lipids.

CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) acts as a cell surface receptor that recognizes and binds oxysterols and initializes a pathway connecting oxysterol binding to PPARgamma (show PPARG Antibodies) activation
Our results indicate that genetically controlled physiological variation of CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) expression levels modulates iNKT-cell development.
our results demonstrate that both Ets1 (show ETS1 Antibodies) and miR (show MLXIP Antibodies)-155 can directly regulate the expression of CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) on B-cells
We report a novel dichotomous role of beta2m and CD1d, whereby these molecules differently regulate autoimmunity against phospholipid versus non-phospholipid autoantigens.
CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) is up-regulated in early adipogenesis, and is transcriptionally controlled by CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein (C/EBP)-beta (show CEBPB Antibodies) and -delta.
these results suggest that the canonical TGF-beta (show TGFB1 Antibodies)/Smad (show SMAD1 Antibodies) pathway negatively regulates an important arm of the host's innate immune responses - CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies)-mediated lipid antigen presentation to NKT (show CTSL1 Antibodies) cells.
These results demonstrate that Bcl-xL (show BCL2L1 Antibodies) regulates CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies)-mediated Ag processing and presentation to NKT (show CTSL1 Antibodies) cells by altering the late endosomal compartment and changing the intracellular localization of CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies).

Our findings identify an essential role for CD1d (show CD1D Antibodies) in promoting UVB-induced cutaneous tissue injury and inflammation.
This gene encodes a member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins, which are structurally related to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) proteins and form heterodimers with beta-2-microglobulin. The CD1 proteins mediate the presentation of primarily lipid and glycolipid antigens of self or microbial origin to T cells. The human genome contains five CD1 family genes organized in a cluster on chromosome 1. The CD1 family members are thought to differ in their cellular localization and specificity for particular lipid ligands. The protein encoded by this gene localizes to the plasma membrane and to recycling vesicles of the early endocytic system. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed, but their biological validity has not been determined.
